Martina Orsini, PhD, is an urban and architectural designer Milan based (Italy) working as a designer interweaving profession and research deepening both design and theoretical aspects. She has taught Urban and Territorial Design Lab and Urban Principles at the Faculty at the Polytechnic of Milan for more than a decade coordinating researches, workshops, exhibits on contemporary city themes. She is recently focused on urban privatization dynamics and global-design attitudes impacts in terms of spatial de-materialization and de-contextualization.
